This Child Abuse Prevention Month, we are growing a better tomorrow for all children, together. As any gardener knows, for plants to thrive, they need a wide variety of essentials. There’s no one thing responsible for flourishing fauna – light, water, soil, space, and nutrients all work together for a garden to bloom.

For children impacted by abuse, each program at Safe Shores works in tandem to help them tell their story, receive the resources they need, and heal. ADULTS  WITH TOOLS ROOTED IN PREVENTION Like healthy soil, Safe Shores’ Prevention and Outreach team lays the foundation and equips adults with skills to recognize, respond to, and prevent abuse.

CALM, SAFE SPACES Like calming waters, Safe Shores’ Forensic Services program provides children with a safe and tranquil space to tell their story to experts who will listen to them, protect them, and help them heal.

CURATED RESOURCES Like the nutrients necessary for a plant to bloom, Safe Shores’ Client Advocates provide resources  to children, teens, and their non-offending caregivers that are focused on their unique needs.

ROOM TO GROW & THRIVE All growth takes time. It never happens overnight! Safe Shores’ Clinical Services program provides therapy for as long as is necessary for healing to occur, free of charge.

COMMUNITY CARE It truly takes a village of safe, caring adults to protect children. From our Multi-Disciplinary Team to you, everyone in the Safe Shores community plants seeds of support for all children.
